The race is eight 1 km runs, each followed by a station: SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, a farmers carry, sandbag lunges and 100 wall balls. You don't need a full gym at home to train for it. Garage Gym Reviews says you can train with minimal equipment like a sandbag, kettlebells and a wall ball, so a sandbag and a kettlebell are the core here, plus shoes for all that running. The shoe picks come from RunRepeat's Hyrox guide; gloves, sandbags and kettlebells come from Garage Gym Reviews' coaches. Gloves are a nice-to-have, not a must. Each card shows the drawback the outlet called out, like a snug fit or filler bags that are a pain to load.
