Disc golfers can never have too many putters, and a bag or a backyard basket makes a gift they'll use every round.
For someone new, the Innova set is BestReviews' best bang for the buck, a driver, mid-range and putter in durable DX plastic, and the Dynamic Discs Prime Burst its best of the best. For putters, the Prime Judge flies accurately with a comfy textured grip, and the Innova DX Aviar stays true to their aim. The MVP Cell is a compact bag that holds 12 discs, and the Franklin portable basket sets up easily and comes with 3 practice discs. The splurges are the Dynamic Discs Trooper, BestReviews' best of the best bag, a padded backpack with room for 18 discs, and the Dynamic Discs Scout, a basket that collapses into a carrying case. Every pick is on my disc golf starter list with its source.
Who this is not for. Skip this if they play with clubs; the gifts for golfers page has balls, gloves and rangefinders.
