Shopping for someone who plans their week around yoga class? Start with the mat: OutdoorGearLab calls the Manduka PRO its best mat for a daily practice and the Gaiam Premium 6mm its best first mat.
Cork blocks help with balance and harder poses, and OutdoorGearLab's best overall block is the Manduka Cork. For leggings, Reviewed names the lululemon Align its best for yoga and Colorfulkoala's 28-inch pair its best overall. Hot yoga fans get the Manduka Yogitoes, Garage Gym Reviews' best gym towel for yoga. For the cool-down, Gear Patrol's best overall meditation cushion and a Hugger Mugger bolster round it out. Each card shows the drawback the outlet called out, like leggings that pill easily.
Who this is not for. Skip this if they're brand new to yoga; the Yoga at Home Starter Kit covers the basics for a first practice.

Gear they'll use every class. A good mat is the classic: OutdoorGearLab's best mat for a daily practice is the Manduka PRO, which has a lifetime warranty. Cork blocks, a mat towel or leggings are smaller gifts that still get used.
Reviewed names the lululemon Align Pant its best leggings for yoga for the buttery soft fabric and wide high waistband, but says it lacks support and compression. Its best overall pair, Colorfulkoala's 28-inch leggings, is the affordable pick, though it pills easily.
A mat towel. Garage Gym Reviews' best gym towel for yoga, the Manduka Yogitoes, has silicone grips to keep it in place. For the mat itself, OutdoorGearLab says the Iuga stays grippy dry or wet, while the Gaiam Premium has poor grip when wet.
