Candy disappears by noon. The best Easter baskets have stuff that keeps the fun going all weekend.
Start with eggs: Baby Bargains' favorite dye kits range from the classic PAAS set to a mess-free marker spinner and a plant-based kit for anyone avoiding food dye. Then add a bunny to hug, like BestReviews' top Easter basket stuffer, a 10-inch GUND bunny holding its own little basket. Toss in tie-dye egg chalk or a light-up bubble wand for after the egg hunt, a paint-your-own bunny stone, and a story for bedtime. Most picks work for little kids, with Squishmallow mystery eggs and a Jellycat bunny for tweens and teens. Each card shows the drawback the reviewers called out, so you can skip the duds before Easter morning.
Who this is not for. Skip this if you're shopping for a birthday instead; the Kid Gifts list has year-round toys by age.
