Adult LEGO fans want builds that end up on a shelf or a wall, plus somewhere to keep the spare bricks.
For small gifts, Happy Plants made NBC Select's 2025 stocking stuffer list, the Lucky Bamboo is its best plant set, and the Chrysanthemum is a LEGO flower that never needs watering. For display builds, the Orchid is NBC Select's editor's pick, the Wildflower Bouquet is its best set for decor, and the Tuxedo Cat is its best LEGO set for adults, with a posable head, paws and tail. For storage, the 4-Stud Desk Drawer stacks with other LEGO storage bricks, and the Minifigure Display Case holds up to 16 minifigures. The splurges are the Wicked Emerald City wall art, NBC Select's best set for movie fans, and Van Gogh's Sunflowers, made with the Van Gogh Museum. Every pick is on one of my lists with its source.
Who this is not for. Skip this if they'd rather play than build; the gifts for board game lovers page has Codenames, Catan and Ticket to Ride.
